• Community Angels Initiative - Terms and Conditions for Volunteering – Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Community Angels Initiative. We are dedicated to making a positive impact through teaching, medical assistance, child care, orphanage programs and environmental conservation. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before completing your booking. By booking and volunteering with us, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

• 1. Volunteer Eligibility – To volunteer with the Community Angels Initiative, you must: 1. Be at least 17+ years old. 2. Possess a valid identification document that is your Passport that is still active. 3. Have any relevant skills or qualifications, as required for the medical program (medical 4. certifications but pre-medical students are also accepted).Be able to commit to the duration of the volunteering program. 5. Not have any criminal convictions related to child welfare, health, or safety.

• 2. Booking Process – 1. Volunteers must complete the online booking form and provide accurate personal details, including emergency contact information, health conditions, dietary requirements and any special requirements. 2. A booking is considered confirmed once payment has been received and a confirmation email is sent.

• 3. Code of Conduct – As a volunteer, you are expected to: 1. Adhere to the values of Community Angels Initiative and treat all individuals with respect, dignity, and kindness. 2. Follow appropriate Dress code as outlined by the team due to the local culture. 3. Follow the rules and guidelines of the program you are volunteering with, including any specific instructions from your supervisors. 4. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive information. 5. Act responsibly and ethically in all interactions with children, medical patients, and other community members. Communicate with the team directly in case of any issue. 6. To attend project everyday unless ill or unfeasible to attend. 7. Follow any curfews within the volunteer accommodation.

• 4. Health and Safety – 1. Volunteers must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions or concerns that may affect their ability to volunteer safely. 2. In case of medical emergencies, the Community Angels Initiative will take necessary actions to provide care, including contacting emergency services. Volunteers are advised to have appropriate travel insurance that covers medical needs. 3. Volunteers must follow all health and safety protocols, especially if volunteering in medical, child care, or orphanage programs.

• 5. Cancellation and Refund Policy – 1. Volunteers can cancel their booking up to 60 Days before the program start date for 30% refund excluding Registration Fee which is non-refundable. 2. Cancellations made after this period may be subjected to no refund, that is loss of 100% of the program fee and Registration Fee.

• 6. Travel and Accommodation – 1. Volunteers are responsible for their own travel arrangements and expenses unless otherwise stated in the program. 2. Accommodation is provided as part of the program, volunteers are expected to follow the accommodation rules and respect the shared living spaces.

• 7. Insurance – Volunteers are strongly encouraged to secure comprehensive travel and medical insurance appropriately covered across all of their trip dates. Community Angels Initiative is not responsible for any accidents, illnesses, or losses sustained while volunteering.

• 8. Limitation of Liability – 1. Community Angels Initiative will not be liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property sustained by volunteers during their involvement in the program. 2. Volunteers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Community Angels Initiative, its staff, and affiliates from any claims arising from their participation in the program.

• 9. Privacy and Data Protection – 1. We are committed to protecting your privacy. Personal data provided during the booking process will be kept confidential and used solely for the purposes of managing your volunteer experience. 2. We may share some information with local program coordinators or partners for logistical reasons (e.g., accommodation, transportation), but will not share your information with third parties without your consent.

• 10. Changes to Terms and Conditions – * Community Angels Initiative reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. All changes will be communicated to volunteers and will take effect immediately upon posting on our website.

• 11. Governing Law – These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United Republic of Tanzania.
